Leadership
Michael Zolt is the managing director of Retriever Direct. He has garnered numerous awards and accolades in the payment processing industry for his forward-thinking ideas and customer-focused efforts.
After gaining valuable experience running and expanding his family's retail operations, Zolt embarked on a career in the bankcard industry in 1991. Over the next five years he built an impressive portfolio of clients that included some of Southern California's best and largest merchants.
In 1996, Zolt returned to his roots in Chicago. Upon that move, he signed a long-term contract with Retriever Payment Systems to better serve his clients and provide additional value to them. Since that time, Zolt has focused on building Retriever's presence in the Chicago area Agent Bank arena and developing other strategic alliances. He has grown his sales organization into a consistent recipient of many Retriever awards including a Jumbo Merchant Award and top ranking sales awards for several years running. In addition, Zolt has been an active member of the Retriever Advisory Board for the past four years.
Retriever Direct is known for its unique training materials which have been delivered to hundreds of bank industry employees. Bank personnel cite the organization's training as "margin improving," "relationship building," and "value-added."
In addition to the management of Retriever Direct, Zolt has created, developed and marketed MaxMerchant Easy QuoteSM, a revolutionary web-based bankcard industry interactive sales software system.
